Hi, and welcome to the Pikamini Miniature Goat Stud website.
Pikamini Miniature Goat Stud is a proud member of the Miniature Goat Breeders Association of Australia (MGBAA) and I am honoured to be the Secretary for the association.
Pikamini is a free roaming goat stud where we avoid keeping our little ones in pens and allow them to wander at will around the paddocks. Because of this we have a hands on approach in raising our goats to the point where they come to us when they see us or when we call.
This hands on approach with caring for our animals begins the moment they are born. The babies are bottle fed which helps with making them as friendly with contact with strangers as they are with us. Our approach carries right through to the adult stage of their lives which makes it perfect for our award winning animals to be shown at the various agricultural shows we frequent and for everyone to pat and enjoy. We also de-horn the babies (called disbudding) for safety reasons.
